Energy Market Reform Bulletin No. 19 - Submission of rule change proposal to the AEMC on consumer access to their energy market data

Publication date: Tuesday, 29th October 2013.

On 4 March 2013, the former Standing Council on Energy and Resources published its full response to the Australian Energy Market Commission's (AEMC) final report of the Power of Choice review of demand side participation in the National Electricity market. In its response the Council agreed to submit a rule change proposal to the AEMC seeking to amend the National Electricity Rules and the National Energy Retail Rules. These amendments were to improve the ability of consumers and their agents to request and receive their personal energy market data.

Released on 29 October 2013, Energy Market Reform Bulletin No. 19 provided stakeholders with a copy of the rule change request and the proposed rule.
