Energy Market Reform Bulletin No. 13 - Appointment of Ms Fiona McLeod and Ms Catriona Lowe as joint Consumer Liaison Representatives during the establishment of a national energy consumer advocacy body

Energy Ministers recognise the need for a more efficient approach to national advocacy for all energy consumers. On 31 May 2013, the former Standing Council on Energy and Resources agreed in principle to establish a national energy consumer advocacy body.

On 21 June 2013, the Council's Energy Market Reform Working Group agreed to engage a consumer liaison representative to provide a focal point for stakeholders during the development of the implementation to guide the establishment of that body.

Released on 12 August 2013, Energy Market Reform Bulletin No. 13 advised stakeholders of the appointment of Ms Fiona McLeod and Ms Catriona Lowe as joint Consumer Liaison Representatives.
